Of an occupied mind
Full of doubts and distrusts
He observed these all, with
A faint smile like the
First rays shining alone
A brief moment of hesitation!
Of long experiences, around
Lost memories and modern times
He knew all these beforehand
Like the writer playing with
His characters and their fates
A brief moment of hesitation!
Of human errors, human sins
Of lusts and temptations unlimited
He observed humanity so long!
He had neither hope nor despair
He had neither pain nor grief
A brief moment of hesitation!
Of my ego, of my arrogance
Of my pride, of my prejudice
He knew, He failed immeasurably
He knew, His instincts didn’t work
He knew, everything was inevitable!
